Ferris Basketball

Kenna made the freshman basketball team in November. She improved so much. She played point guard and wing. She was pretty good at making the 3 pointer. She was the highest on her team for steals. She had a great coach that the girls liked. Kenna's most memorable game was when they were down by 1 point to CV with 7 seconds left with the ball. The plan was for Haley to passe the ball into McKenna and she run as fast as she could to the other side of the court and make a lay-up. Well the plan worked except she couldn't go in for a lay-up but had to shoot an outside shot that swooshed in with a second left. The coach threw his pencil with excitement and then realized he needed to keep coaching but the buzzer went off. The Ferris crowd went wild when it went in. What a game!

Birthday with Grandma C

Grandma C Came for a visit while the men were out hunting. We went shopping, out to dinner and had cake to celebrate her 61 birthday!! Colby helped grandma blow out her candles. Eating cake or hunting? Which one sounds like more fun to you? We had a great time.

Ferris Soccer and Tae's Breakers

Kenna played soccer on the Ferris C/Freshman team. She was with a lot of 9th and 10th graders. She had a great soccer season and was voted MVP for the season from all her teammates.

Tae is number 4 and playing this year for the Breakers A-team

 Kenna's FC soccer team.

Grandpa and Grandma G came for a visit and were able to watch Kenna play on her FC team and Ferris team. This was the game we heard that the age limit for male missionaries to serve a mission was changed to age 18 and the females  to age 19. This ment my brother Brandon could start working on his papers and go at anytime.

Labor Day

Playing catch up with what has happened in our lives since September 2012. John, Stacey and kids came for the Labor Day weekend to visit us. We went to a water park with freezing cold water and had a picnic. The kids enjoyed playing together and the adults went to eat at Texas Roadhouse one evening. We went to Manto Park and let the kids get some energy out. We had a great weekend together.
